Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Massachusetts

Can I Sue someone that is going Bankrupt?

I was employed as a Manager of a small Gro. Store and quit because of Sexual Harrassment from the Owner of the Gro. Store. He is going thru the process of Bankrupt. Can I sue him? Is it worth my time to get an Attorney? He is supossingly a well to do man.???I am working with MCAD and EEOC. Should I just let them handle the matter?

Thank You so much For Your Time Brenda

Technically, you must get the permission of the bankruptcy court before suing someone (or a company) that is going bankrupt. It is a somewhat complex situation, so you should have a lawyer help you. For the moment, continue with the MCAD and EEOC, but talk with an experienced bankruptcy lawyer before you go too much further. Good luck!
