What does ''Your ad here'' mean?
A places the phrase ''Your ad here -- $5'' on his website. B sends A $5 and specifies a message. A runs the message for 24 hours and then claims to have fulfilled his commitment and reverts the message to ''Your ad here -- $5.'' B claims the he has bought the advertising space in perpetuity, that it is now his. B did not contact A before sending the money to ask details of the offer and no documents were signed/exchanged.
Who is right? Is there any relevant precedent or legal principle?

Absent a written contract and any specifications about the terms, your difference of opinion would in my opinion be determined by the common usage in the industry.
