attaching a house for non payment

I own a roll off container business for construction and demolition and the contractor has not paid. Other than going to court how do I attach his house?

Re: attaching a house for non payment

You can file a mechanis lien against the job the contractor used the equipment for assuming you fall within the statute and the time constraints and your agreement allows for same.

To attach his home, you have to file a lawsuit and seek a writ of attachment.

Good Luck.
