Legal Question in Business Law in Massachusetts

Billing

I own a franchise, how far back can the master franchisee bill me for bills that they paid for my buisness and they forgot to charge me. They just gave be bills in 2009 from 2003 to the present? The 5 years worth of bills total over $9,000.00.

Re: Billing

The answer is likely in the franchise agreement, which you should bring to an attorney for advice specific to your situation.

Re: Billing

An attorney would have to look at your franchise agreement. If MA law applies then generally 6 years is the period for contract claims. However, if it is a contract under seal under MA law the time period is 20 years.

I suggest you contact an attorney ASAP.
