Legal Question in Business Law in Massachusetts
I bought a 2007 Jeep commander from a used car dealership. The second day we had the car it would not start. We then brought it to the dealership, they replaced the battery and it started working fine. Two weeks down the road and after a few snow storms I got into the car to drive to work and there was water leaking from the roof, water on the dash board, and also the carpets were soaked. The headliner of the car was discolerd. We called them to make a complaint and at first they insited that we had left the sunroof open, but we did not. And also the stains on the interior would show that it obviosly was not from an open sunroof, but that they were coming from somewhere else such as the windsheild, or door jams. We brought the car to them for them to fix the problem and they said that they had been pouring hose water on the car for several hours and there was no leak. They had fixed the other issues we had with the car, and told us they had taken the stains out. When we got there to pick the car up it was night time and it seemed the stains were gone. The next morning however when i got in the car to drive to work i looked up and saw that the stains were still there just lighter then it was before. I was very upset at this time and decided i was just going to get the car detailed elsewhere seeing as though they could not get the job done just to get this over with since they had assured me that there were no leaks and that it would not happen again. i then drove to work and it was raining, when i left work I got in my car and found my floor carpets, the roof, and side pillars were wet. I called them up right away and told them all about it. They told me i should bring the car back and wait there while they poured water on it and inspected it once agian. i have not gone there to do so yet because i am positive the problem is not going to be resloved once again and i want to have a plan for the next step as i can not keep driving an hour away only to have the same problem reoccur. Assuming that they are unable to resolve the promblem for the second time, and i am fairly confident they will not, what kind of legal action can I take if any? I am concerned that this will only lead to bigger problems down the road such as eclectrical issues ect.

Sounds like this car has had a lot of problems in the past.
Warranty problems and possible Lemon Law
Make sure that you have all of the paperwork showing what work was done on the vehicle and then contact your local BBB autoline. You may be able to use their Lemon Law claims system to resolve your issues without Court involvement. Also, the Better Business Bureau website may give you some additional information on how to pursue resolution of your issue.
