Legal Question in Business Law in Massachusetts
about business customer relations after termination
Hi. I worked for a company for 32 years and was let go. After which they told me i could sub-contract for them and would pay half my health ins. At that time i had a contract with them stating the percentage that i would get paid and when my checks would be paid. I never had a non-compete clause or anything like that as i wasn't really working anywhere else. App 2 yrs later they terminated me from doing work for them. My question is all these years i built up good relations with my customers and a lot want me to do their service. I owe them nothing but i need to make a living. Thank you.

As I stated in my earlier answer, I would need to see any and all written employment contracts you signed along with any employee handbook or similar material you may have been given and all termination notices etc. in order to properly answer your question.
