Cancling contradt

I signed a contract with a uniform company and within 4 hours I called back and told them I had a problem could we cancel the conctrat. They said NO. The contract has not started yet. Can I cancel it?

retain an attorney to review the contract because you may be liable for damages if the uniform company has already acted to their detriment based upon their reliance upon the contract you signed.

The sooner you act the greater your options.

You can, and they can try to enforce it. The contract starts when the parties sign off.

It depends.... It depends on:

1) A number of contractual considerations;

2) You should read about contracts and performance/ defenses to contract formation/impossibility of performance/ mistake/ timely notice of cancellation/ reliance/ recission of contract/ mitiation of damages; and a host of other considerations.

3) You'd be wise to consider speaking with an attorney or visiting your local law library an/or calling a law reference librarian.
