Changing Federal Identification Numger
The company I work for has changed from a sole proprietor to a LLC. Is a new Federal Identification Number needed ?

Generally, the answer is yes. But this is the responsibility of the owner of the company or the manager of the LLC.

The new entity (LLC) should have its own federal identification number.
