Legal Question in Business Law in Massachusetts

Email as evidence

Is email acceptable as evidence in a court of law?

If so, in what form?

I believe a printed version of email is not tamper-proof, so would it be admissable?

What about email which has been downloaded from a computer onto a 3.5 inch disk?

Re: Email as evidence

As in all evedence questions - it depends. In order to enhance admissibility see if you have the date the e-mail issued, to, from, etc.

Re: Email as evidence

You simply do not provide enough information.

1. nature of email;

2. nature of proceedings;

3. purpose of introduction as evidence?
