Legal Question in Business Law in Massachusetts
Can the right to enter into a contract be abridged?
In Massachusetts, or the U.S., can the right for two or more individuals enter into a contract be abridged?
If so, in what way, and what are the statutes that specifically protect the right to do business and enter into a contract?

I am not sure exactly what you are asking, but if you are asking can a contract or other agreement prevent someone from entering into other contracts, the answer is under certain circumstances yes. Moreover, the government has the authority to prevent certain kinds of contracts from being entered into where there is a governmental interest.
A better explanation could be given if there were more facts upon which to relate the answer.
Please feel free to provide me witg more details and I will attempt to give you a better answer.
