Legal Question in Business Law in Massachusetts
I left an employer to start my own company. He is preventing me from using a vendor by telling them I'll go after his clients, which is not true. He's OK with me selling their products provided I pay him 50%. Is this legal? There was no non-compete.

No. Moreover, the vendor should not be intimidated by your former employer.
