Legal Question in Business Law in Massachusetts
In Massachusetts I was told by a friend of mine that an Attorney said that a person over the age of 75 in that State is no longer responsible for their debts, that a debt collector cannot force that elderly person to pay off that debt, how true is this, what is the chapter and section for this law in Massachusetts

I am not aware of any such rule. However, if the person over 75 only has social security as assets and income the creditor may not be able to attach the income.
That is absolutely false. As attorney Roth correctly points out, a person living on only social security income and without any other assets or property may be "judgment proof", but they are not immune to civil liability.
If you are being pursued by a debt collector, I strongly recommend that you contact an attorney.
