Legal Question in Business Law in Massachusetts
I have an outstanding loan defaulted on they put a judgement on me now they are putting a lien on my home and I live in a habitat home can this be done.

The answer depends. Do you own the house outright, or is there some other arrangement with Habitat? Do you owe more than the house is worth? You should talk with a bankruptcy lawyer to figure out how to best deal with this problem.

Attorney Gindes advice is correct. If you do not own the home they cannot do much with the lien. If you have already filed a homestead and you do not have more than $500K in equity they cannot foreclose.
I suggest you contact a bankruptcy attorney.
