Legal Question in Business Law in Massachusetts
Put almost 2 years of work in for a 4 year old company. The owner said they would make me part owner of their company for this work and a small amount of pay. I never got shares issued to me and they closed the company saying it ran out of money. They are planning on opening up again using the same web domain and public name which I put work into building a reputation for it. They say it was their existing name and I have no claim to it. Can I file a lawsuit to gain money from them using that name still for the work I did to build it up?

That's possible, though unclear. I would really need to know a little more information about what the company was, what happened, and so forth. There are evidentiary issues to consider as well. But - I'd be open to talking about it.

as stated, you can, and this secondary creation may be deemed as a fraudulent transfer.
Get a lawyer - this is a tough one.
