How to get a refund for unfulfilled contract

I hired a search engine optimazation company to improve my web site's rankings in search results but they did not fulfill our contract and refused to make a refund. What can I do in this situation?

Dpending on the amount, sending them a 93A letter, & then file suit.

Without reading your agreement it is not clear what your best approach is. However, generally you send them a 93A letter and then file suit 30 days later. Make sure you send the letter certified mail.

Internet law is new but may come under the Mass Consumer Protection law, Ch. 93A. However, MA law may be inapplicable and your only recourse in to the Federal Trade Commission or Interstate Commerce Commission. Report them to MA Attorney General and Office of consumer affairs. They also may be able to tell you in MA law applies.
