Repossing a vehicle
Can a small business repossess a used vehicle for which the repair work was not paid for.

No. A small business cannot engage in "self-help" and take someone's car off the street. The business COULD HAVE refused to release the car until paid, but once the vehicle was released, taking it back is GRAND THEFT-AUTO. Business has other remedies through the court system, but larceny is not advisable.
