I signed a non compete, but my company has now cut my salary twice. I want to go with another company because I can't pay my bills with the much lower salary. what are my options?

The answer depends, to a significant extent, on the language and controlling terms of any employment contract, policy/procedure manual, or other enforceable agreement document concerning such things relating to your employment.

Feel free to contact me directly, without obligation, to discuss this further.

As a Franchise Attorney I agree with the other attorney. It's not possible to answer your question without examining all relevant documents - especially the non-compete you signed. Reducing your salary is not likely something that will invalidate a non-compete. Consult with a good business or franchise attorney for specific advice.

Retain an attorney to review the non compete agreement. Good Luck!
