Legal Question in Business Law in Massachusetts
T-Mobile sent me a bill for $156.56 which was for me switching to another carrier because I had problems with the phone that could not be fixed and they did not send a bill out to me for the month before. I sent them a check for $66.52 for the services I used during my last month and the rest was for the phone. On the check I put in the memo final payment. T-Mobile cashed the check and is now asking for the $90.04. If they cash the check with the final payment written in the memo of the check, Is that concerned final payment or do I owe them the $90.04? I thought a check was a contract between two parties.
