Lawsuit

Are there penalties for filing a lawsuit without proper basis? I was sued by a party and we discovered that the suit was filed without basis.

It is impossible for an attorney to answer a question without having the full facts to review.

Where does the case currently stand?

Have you responded to their Complaint with your own Answers, Defenses, and Counterclaims yet?
