Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Massachusetts
Is it legal for a "bouncer" at a club to approach you and demand you hand over a beverage (in a soda bottle) for inspection and then seize it. This is taking place not on the clubs property but about 150 ft away in a line which is in now way at all marked off or contained as being associated with the club. There was no scene of intoxication involved at all or any sort of disturbance.
