Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Massachusetts

i have a pendin federal civil rights law suite against boston police for breaking my left shoulder, perjury to a state court judge at my probation revocation hearing that resulted in my incarceration for 2.5 yrs,that was subsequently reversed when the revoking judge found that the officers lied and released me after 10.5 months, the criminal charges i was arrested for were ultimately dismissed for want of posecution, and the commonwealth withdrew the case from the grandjurys consideration, the city of boston filed a motion to dismiss denying all responsibility that motion was filed on or about march 20,20011 and the motion judge has yet to rule on it?why? why so long, the judge is jospeh L tuaro is he a fair judge? so could you just give me some advice?

All Judges try to be fair. However, the average Judge hears hundreds of cases in a year. No doubt it can be hard to keep up. Probably, your attorney does not want to annoy the Judge by requesting a rapid ruling.

If you filed this suit yourself, then you should really consider hiring an attorney ASAP, the Judge could be delaying to allow you time to do this. If your complaint and and response to the motion to dismiss were inadequate, the Court may have no choice but to throw your suit out, and is delaying so that you will hire an attorney to amend your complaint for you.
