Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Massachusetts
where do i stand
i filed a form for child welfare fraud against my ex wife who i had been paying child support directly to when i should have been paying dor. I met with an investigater for child welfare and he ensured me they would go after her for all the back support plus. Then i explained to him she had a brother who is a state sen. After talking with him he called my ex and explained i had come in and filled out paper work for welfare fruad against her. My next conversation with him he stated we needed counsl. and there was nothing else he planned to do about it.Since this time my ex explained to my three boys daddy was trying to put her in jail and she cut off visitation. Do i have any legal stand against the dept. of welfare or the invest.for them telling my ex that i was the one who filed the claim against her? thanks for your help

Sorry, but I do not think so. While I might question the judgment of the Department of Welfare for suggesting to your ex wife that you filed the complaint, they did nothing unlawful. Get a lawyer, get visitation going again, and start healing....your kids don't need this. Good luck.
