Vacant a dismissal
We were brought to court and the lawyer never showed up-- The case was dismissed and now the lawyer is stated to ''Vacant the dismissal''. Can he do that???

Yes. A person can file a Motion to Vacate the Order of Dismissal.
Especially here, where a court may not want the other party to be penalized for his lawyer's conduct.
