Legal Question in Technology Law in Massachusetts
I took my computer with my data base to my computer guy because it was hanging, he did a virus scan and wiped out 20 years of customer info that is pretty much priceless. what is my recourse.

Really, not much -- he should have inquired whether you had any kind of back-up, but your failure to maintain your "priceless" data in any kind of digital archive is so reckless as to undermine your chances at blaming the tech. There are data recovery firms that may well be able to salvage the "lost" data, though at considerable cost.
