Legal Question in Constitutional Law in Massachusetts

how much time to file a lawsuit

I was accused of a crime, arrested, charged with a felony. Fortunately I had proof there was no crime, charges were dropped.

I'm an angry man. I want to bring a lawsuit against those who accused me of a crime. I was set up, and I can prove it.

How much time do I have to file a lawsuit? I have a slam dunk case that I was brought up on false charges, I want to hit them where it will really hurt them, in the wallet. How much time do I have to bring a civil lawsuit against those who accused me of a crime?

What kind of lawyer can help me with this?

Re: how much time to file a lawsuit

You need a civil litigation attorney. You may be able to sue for malicious prosecution as well as abuse of process.

The statute of limitations on most torts in Massachusetts is 3 years.

If I can be of any other assistance please feel free to contact me.
