Legal Question in Construction Law in Massachusetts

Our new landlord is doing extensive construction upstairs. When we move out in September they are planning to make the building a one family apartment. The construction is very loud and begins at 8am. They are disrupting our morning. Is there anything we can do?

Ask for a reduction in your rent, and limit construction to the day.

You are entitled to quiet enjoyment of your rented premises.
