Legal Question in Construction Law in Massachusetts

Poor work by contractor

We recently had some work done in our house(painting, patching holes in ceilings, refinish floors) to recover from water damage. The work that was done was extremely poor, and in some cases things were not done at all. Baseboards that had been wet and needed to be replaced were not replaced and just painted over. The rooms that were painted need to be redone, borders need to be removed and put back up because of bubbles and wrinkles, and then there was damage to areas(tore through bathroom flooring, spilled paint in koi pond, paint on foundation). We raised concerns part way through the job and were ensure all would be corrected, however they weren't. What recourse do we have?
