Legal Question in Consumer Law in Massachusetts
Breaking a Co-signed Lease Agreement
My friend lives with another person, both signed a lease agreement which ends in August. The two have had a falling out and now my friend would like to get out of the lease. Her attempts to find a replacement roomate have failed due primarily to her roomate's lack of cooperation. Do you have any suggestions on courses of action my friend can take? Is there any legal action she could take?
Thank you.
