Car damaged at dealership

Within one week of purchasing a new car at a dealership I brought the car back to have a remote starter installed. While the car was at the dealership, my new car was hit by another vehicle. The sales manager called to say that the car would be repaired and that I would be able to take the car anywhere to be looked at ane that I would be able to keep the loaner as long as it took to have the car repaired. Thje repair time was estimated to be within the week. In addition to getting my car back ''as good as new'', I was told that the dealership would give me two free years of service.

My question is what are my rights in this situation? Can I request a new car to replace mine? Will my car be devalued in the Auto check system? It has been 10 days since my car was damaged and the only contact that I have had with the dealership is the contact that I have initiated.

I am not aware of any law that would entitle you to a new car. I believe that the person who hit your car would be responsible for the damage and it is possible that the dealer may also be responsible depending on the circumstances of the accident (which are not mentioned in this post).
