Legal Question in Consumer Law in Massachusetts
Credit Card Company.
I have bad debt, about $3500 on old credit cards.
I'm attending a hearing next month, they're sending me letters threatening--name removed--seize my 'assets.'
Aside from clothing, The Only thing I own is a beat up 95 Oldsmobile, I'm unemployed - I live with my parents, and I'm poor.
Can they take it?

It sounds as though you are judgment proof. However, unless you plan to stay judgment proof for the rest of your life, you need to figure out a way to settle this judgment.
The judgment will not 'go away' and it will continue to haunt you until you pay it. You should see if they are willing to take a lump-sum-payment of less than the full amount owed.
