credit card info
Is it legal for companies to require my credit card information, even though I pay in cash?
They refuse to let me rent their products unless I provide them this info, Note The company has been prosecuted in the past for identity theft, BB Video

If your question is does a company have a right to run a "credit check," probably. If they are asking for individual credit card information, that is another story. You state this company has been prosecuted for past ID theft, you need to make a choice whether you really want to deal with this kind of company! Good luck!
