Legal Question in Consumer Law in Massachusetts
free microwave
I ordered a microwave online from a major appliance retailer. I got an email that it was ready for pickup. When I got there, I was not in the computer yet. They gave me the microwave anyway. With some prodding from a freind, I then called the store to cancel the order and they credited my card. I've called the store since then and they said payment was taken at the time of pickup. My card has not been charged. Am I guilty of fraud?

Re: free microwave
No. Only fraud if you intended to defraud. I am sure that compaly will find its error and contact you for payment. So, pay them.
