Mortgage broker damages

Our mortgage broker was SEVERELY incompetent and due to this he lost us one property and damaged my credit rating. Do we have any legal recourse? I have requested all paperwork be forwarded to us, and he refuses to include it all as well.

You have an action in contract. You also may have an action in tort for misrepresentation. You also may have a claim under the Consumer Protection law if you can esgtablish that he engaged in unfair or deceptive behavior.
