The logical next things to do would be:

1) Visit your dentist asap and get photos, x-rays, treatment, and an estimate of the costs related to "restoring" the tooth.

2) Determine the claims procedure for the store.

3) Send a certified (return receipt requested) letter to them asking for re-imbursement of your losses. Include copies of your documentation (not necessarily the photoes or x-rays). Send to store manager and store claims adjuster.

4) Await the store's reply.

5) Contact a lawyer to asssist you or sue in small claims yourself if you are not fully satisfied with the outcome.

Hi -

I am glad you kept the sandwich. Do NOT speak to any insurance company! Feel free to call my office if you would like to talk this one out. Thanks.
