Yes, once a creditor has obtained a judgment against a debtor, the creditor can use that judgment to engage in further collection activity, including wage garnishment, civil arrest, levy of assets, and property. If you would like to retain counsel and defend yourself, please feel free to give my office a call.

AS was said, the creditor needs to have gone to court, and you should have gotten notice of the action.

Yes. If the credit card company obtains a judgment against you it can place a lien on your house, car, and/or bank accounts. Feel free to contact me.
