Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Massachusetts

Not my bill

There is another person w/ my same name. She had a judgement against her and it showed up on my credit report. I got the verdit vacated, but I received a letter from the court for a pre-trail hearing. Do I need to go? Since this is not my bill. My address is different than the address on the Docket, my ss number is different.

Re: Not my bill

Do not ignore this.

Contact the other attorney and check into it; the last result you want is a default judgment. If you get no resolution in writing and a dismissal, attend all court hearings.

If you have any more questions or need help, contact me.
