Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Massachusetts

Not Billed for a purchase

Hey,

I recently bought a tv from sears and they didn't bill me for the tv. I called the sears card service number and was told that my account had been credited for the amount of the tv. I was told that I'll need to call sears to be rebilled. I am wondering if I should just keep quiet, and see if I don't get charged.

If I do nothing will I be held accountable for their mistake?

Since my sears card has a balance of $0.0 I am wondering if I should cancel my account, and walk away?

Any advice?
