Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Massachusetts

Civil Arrest Warrant How do I get it reversed

I did not appear in court in regard to a debt I did not pay and had no means to pay. Now a civil arrest warrant has been issued. I would like to know how I can get this removed without a lawyer and without spending time in jail. Can I go to the court and will they reissue me a new date? My problem is, I have no money even to pay for a bond and definitely not for a lawyer. But I do want to go to court and get this resolved via a payment plan. any ideas?

Call either the sherriff or the lawyer who obtained the capias IMMEDIATELY and arrange to meet the lawyer in court. When you are before the judge the judge will set a payment plan.

If this is more than you can handle, your option is bankruptcy. I have a lot of information about bankruptcy on my web site, www.fiorentinilaw.com
