collection
my father paid debts that were mine, i never made a writen agreement to pay them back. can he sue me for those debts? and what would my rights be?

Anyone can sue anyone. The question is will they win. That depends strictly upon: 1) the law, 2) the facts, 3) the quality (not "quantity") of evidence and 4) the trier of fact.;) PLease feel free to contact my office for a free intitial assessment of your rights.;)

While you may not have a legally enforcible obligation you certainly have a moral obligation to reimburse your father for any debts he repaid for you that were not for something for which he also was legally responsible.
