Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Massachusetts

Collectors are contacting my parents

A debt collection agency, who I do owe money to, called my parents home yesterday looking for me, and when they didnt get an answer, they called my fathers office. Can they do this? I thought with the Fair Debt Collection Practices they could only contact a thrid party in an attempt to reach me once. Is that right?
