Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Massachusetts
I have a company calling me saying I owe money for a payday loan. When I asked to have a copy of this affidavit, he told me I would have to go the courthouse to get. Am I not allowed to have this paperwork sent to me so I know what exactly, I am being charged with?

You should hire a lawyer.
If you are being contacted by a debt collection agency, you need to demand validation pursuant to the fair debt collection practices act (FDCPA). If they have filed suit against you, you need to answer their complaint and defend yourself.
