Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Massachusetts

Co-signed loan, payments have stopped

I co-signed a loan for my daughter (for the consolidation of her and her exboyfriends debt). One of the items paid off with this loan was a car she cosigned for him to purchase, so I have the title he has the car. They broke up 9 months later - 5 year loan (3 to go). I did have each of them sign an agreement as to who's responsible for what debt (not witnessed or notarized). The boyfriend and his family had been making payments but stopped. I need to take him to court, would like to do pro se as I can't afford to get deeper in debt due to these two. His portion of the debt is around $6500. Can someone give me advise as to specific points i need to be sure are in the complaint? do I need to site a specific statute?
