Are co-signed loans collectible if 10 or more years have passed.

Generally, the statute of limitations for a contract is 6 years. That date does not start to run until there is a default under the contract. If the lender agreed to a workout plan, extension, etc, then that would delay the default. Other provisions of the contract could act to extend the time in which to file suit. The fact that a debt may be barred from litigation does not preclude it from being placed on a person's credit report.
