Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Massachusetts

credit card debt

a credit card company is threatening to take legal action in an attemt to collect a debt that i have not been able to make payments on. my sole income is social security diability, i have no assetts in the bank, own no property, have no other source of income. the money i recieve goes entirely to basic living expenses. can the credit card co. sue to recover the debt?

If your sole income is your Social Security Benefits seek representation from your local legal assistance clinic to so advise the credit agency as those benefits may not be attached. Good Luck!
