credit card debt

My mother died in july and I had a card issued in my name under her account, was it fraud for me to use the card after her death, when I was still paying the bill. The credit card company threaten me with fraud if I didn't pay the charges after her death.

There are no kind words to describe what you did. The credit card company is correct. This is a form of identity theft. I would suggest that you get the money together and pay off the card as fast as possible.
