Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Massachusetts

Credit card debt responsibility.

Regarding credit cards where the wife is the sole name on the card (has received numerous cards in mail and responded to all in her name only). Is this the husbands debt? What is the Mass state law in regards to this or is there one?

It depends. When a divorce action is pursued, her debts can be your debts. If you are talking about other circumstances, let me know what they are.
