Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Massachusetts
Credit card Dispute
I have a dispute of amount $1000 for my Chase visa credit card. First they credited me this amount then taken away. I received two statements which appeared that I have a new balance of $1000. When called the dispute department at Chase bank , they stated that they have never received the document to support my case and that was why credited amount taken away. However, I faxed the document to the given name and fax number prior to the deadline to represent my case. I have a fax transmission report and receipt to prove that I have faxed them. Meanwhile, I applied a credit card from another bank which was denied. (First time in my life my credit card application has been denied) For this disputed amount for the services but I have never received it; furthermore the person supposed to provide me service lost my confidential and important document by mailing via regular mail. I am telling Chase that the person did not provide me a service at all and lost my package. However, Chase is asking me that I should get a second opinion from the expert that I did not get appropriate service. This is ridicilous and only the game and not the solution. I need your help how I should pursue my case. Thanks.
