Can a credit card come after me after seven years

Re: credit card
Generally speaking, pursuant to Massachusetts law, you would have no legal obligation to pay the credit card debt after the statute of limitations is passed (six years). Your moral obligation is something entirely different.;)
Re: credit card
It really depends on what you mean by "after seven years", and whether any payments or acknowledgments have been made since the account went into default.
In addition, just because a debt is legally unenforceable does not mean that debt collectors will stop harassing you and attempting to collect on the debt.
You should speak with an attorney in your area, who can usually (depending on the facts of your case) discharge the debt once and for all. Feel free to contact me should you require any further assistance.
