Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Massachusetts

debt collection expiration

I read that each state has a unique debt expiration period after which uncollected debt must be written off; what is the expiration period for MA? I checked the Atty Gen's website but nothing regarding that is listed. Thanks!

The statute of limitations on contracts in Massachusetts, including contracts for debts, is six years.

The statute of limitations for credit card debt in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is 6 years from the date of breach,;)
