Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Massachusetts
I have to file a motion to remove a civil default. There were 2 reason's why I didn't show up. (1) I work on the road & not home offen. (2) they sent the court papers to my old address. The judgement was for Lvnv funding for $3600.00 for a $600.00 debt. Please tell me what to write on the Motion To The Court or Advice on what to do. Thank You John

I don't really think I or anyone else who has a license to practice law would tell you to put down any reason other than be completely truthful. It is certainly easier to remove a default than a default judgment. If you were a paying client I could be more helpful. Regards, JBS
